Story Workshop Educational Trust (SWET) has engaged celebrities in disseminating tithane ndi Kolera messages through social media to reach out to many people.

Through the Unicef’s tithane ndi cholera emergency campaign, SWET is sensitizing people through its social media pages which include facebook, twitter, you tube and instagram.
So far, Nyasa Big Bullets legend Fischer Kondowe and the award winning poet Robert Chiwamba have been used in the campaign.

Kondowe said he is privileged to be used in the campaign and that he feels honoured to be branded as an ambassador for the Tithane ndi Kolera campaign.

“You are aware that sports and health are related because a health person can play soccer and other sporting activities. So, am humbled to be used in the Tithane ndi kolera campaign because I know for sure am promoting health and bright future for future footballers to be like me”, said Kondowe.

Chiwamba on the other hand recommended SWET for engaging him saying he is always willing to help others reach their potential.

“I feel good when I am doing something which is promoting someone’s health. I hope through this campaign I am helping others to reach their potential by washing hands at five critical times as it helps them to avoid being contaminated with diseases”, said Chiwamba.

SWET is implementing the Tithane ndi Kolera emergency campaign with funding from Unicef and is using social media as a conduit to reach out to masses.
